Stambourne is a Parish in the north-west of the Braintree District, bordered by Birdbrook and Ridgewell to the north and Finchingfield and Toppesfield to the south. This is the more rural northern area of the District, where Suffolk and particularly the nearby towns of Haverhill and Sudbury would also provide services for residents. The population of Stambourne is 409 (Census 2011). |
