Belchamp Walter & Borley - Information about Parishes in the district

Overview of the Parish

Belchamp Walter & Borley are two Parishes located adjacent to each other at the very north-eastern portion of the Braintree District. Borley is on the northern border with Suffolk (Babergh District).

The Parish is in the more rural north-eastern area of the District, where Suffolk and particularly the nearby town of Sudbury would also provide services for residents.

*Whilst Borley is often identified as a Parish in its own right, the size of the village is very small and in the Census 2011, Borley has been included with Belchamp Walter. The Housing StatNav has therefore done the same with the housing needs data. To read more about this in more detail please visit minor anomalies in specific locations.

The population of Belchamp Walter and Borley is 328 (Census 2011).
