Braintree District Council is today displaying its latest plans for the proposed development on the land to the rear of Braintree Town HallPublished: Wednesday, 10th January 2018
The exhibition was held at the Town Hall in Braintree on Wednesday, January 10th from 3pm until 7pm. Attendees had the chance to ask questions of the project team including Council officers, AHR Global Architects, Potter Raper Partnership Building Consultants and RPS CgMs Planning Consultants.
For those who couldn't attend the public exhibition, you can download the plans for the proposed development.
The plans include a hotel, health provision, new homes, a new bus interchange and new car parking. More detail is also provided about the proposed enhanced public realm, which will complement Braintree’s historic Town Hall and provide the perfect backdrop for a new café/restaurant.
The next stage for these plans will be to go to Braintree District Council’s Cabinet and Full Council meetings in March 2018 and, if approved, a detailed planning application will be submitted in April 2018.
