Design proposals published for Rose Hill Park in Braintree

Plans to improve the land at Rose Hill, Braintree have been revealed for public consultation.

Plans to improve the land at Rose Hill, Braintree have been revealed for public consultation.

Residents are being encouraged to give their feedback on the design proposals which will see an improvement in landscape and accessibility in the area.

The proposed plan includes a series of fitness and play equipment, new landscaping, artwork and a looped pathway.

The consultation will end at 5pm on Monday 30th October. 

Councillor Wendy Schmitt, Cabinet Member for Environment and Place, said: “We are encouraging local residents to give their feedback and tell us what they think of the design plan for Rose Hill. We want to make sure the developments are what our residents want and ensure we provide an enhanced green space for all of the community to enjoy.”

A consultation event will also be held on Tuesday 17th October (at the end of Holden Close, nearest postcode is CM7 3BU) from 3pm-6pm where residents can see the design plans, speak to our officers and get a chance to give their feedback on the proposals.
