There will be changes to bin and recycling collections. They will be a day later than your normal collection date week commencing Monday 19 September.

Please make sure you put your items out for collection by 7am on your collection date.
Council venues and offices
Most Council venues will be closed on Monday 19 September, and bookings will be cancelled. All services and buildings will open as normal on Tuesday 20 September.
Leisure centres
Our four leisure centres that are managed by Fusion Lifestyle will close on Monday 19 September as a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the day of The State Funeral. This includes:
- Braintree Sport & Health Club
- Braintree Swimming & Fitness
- Halstead Leisure Centre
- Witham Leisure Centre
All centres will be reopen as normal on Tuesday 20 September.
