Rose Hill consultation

Rose Hill Park Consultation

Braintree District Council is continuing to develop the land near Rose Hill so the space can be opened for everyone to use and enjoy.

Please find below the design plan and a questionnaire so you can share your views and comments on what we are planning for the project. Your views will help shape what we do next.

A consultation event will be held at the land near Rose Hill (the end of Holden Close - nearest postcode CM7 3BU) on the 17th October from 15:00-18:00. This will be an opportunity for you to share your views and learn more about the project.

The closing date for the consultation is 30th October.

Ways to comment on the plans:

Background

The project started when Braintree District Council took over the ownership of the land. At the time we spoke with local residents who were interested in the project to help us design a new park to be built on the wasteland. The land was then cleared as it was full of rubbish and dense vegetation.

Project timeline

  • After the consultation, we will review feedback and update the design plans
  • A report of the consultation will then be published
  • The work will then go out to tender

The closing date for the consultation is 30th October.
