Rose Hill Park
Braintree District Council is continuing to develop the land near Rose Hill so the space can be opened for everyone to use and enjoy.
The consultation period is now closed. Thank you to everyone who shared their views on the design plan. Please find the consultation report below.
Braintree District Council will use the feedback we received to determine what is done next, with the intention of supporting what the majority of the public would like to see happen to the land. This will be done as closely as is practically and reasonably possible.

- A report of the consultation will then be published.
- The work will then go out to tender.
The project started when Braintree District Council took over the ownership of the land. At the time we spoke with local residents who were interested in the project to help us design a new park to be built on the wasteland. The land was then cleared as it was full of rubbish and dense vegetation.
