Guides to the data

Each location has a document available for download called 'The Key Housing Needs Statistics'. You can also download a guide to this document which follows a section-by-section breakdown of each graph or table and explains the sources, labelling and provide examples of how to read the data.

There are three different versions of the guides, which correspond with the three different versions of the Key Housing Needs Statistics. (These are slightly different because there is different data for different areas depending on their size and the sample sizes available).

1. Guide (District & Towns Version) - for use with the Braintree District, Braintree & Bocking, Halstead and Witham
2. Guide (Larger Villages Version - over 1,500 population) - for use with Black Notley, Coggeshall, Cressing, Earls Colne, Feering, Great Notley, Great Yeldham, Hatfield Peverel, Kelvedon, Rayne, Steeple Bumpstead, Sible Hedingham and Silver End
3. Guide (Villages Version) - to use with all other parish locations.
