Coggeshall - Information about Parishes in the district

Coggeshall is one of the larger villages in the Braintree District and is located on the A120 between the main market town of Braintree and Marks Tey (joining the A12). Coggeshall Parish is situated at the East of the District on the border with Colchester District. 

Coggeshall is one of the six ÔKey Service VillagesÕ which Braintree District Council identifies as larger villages which also provide services for their smaller surrounding villages and hamlets.

The population of Coggeshall is 4,727 (Census 2011).
