Property types needed by location

For Braintree, Witham and Halstead, the applicants are those with a current address in the towns only.

For the key service villages (Coggeshall, Earls Colne, Hatfield Peverel, Kelvedon, Sible Hedingham and Silver End) the applicants are those with a current address in the village.

Applicants under the age of 60 are compared with the average number of lets per year of the general needs houses (number of bedrooms) that they have applied for. E.g. The total applicants in 2 bed need are compared against the average number of lets of all general needs 2 bed flats and houses (but not 2 bed bungalows). 

All applicants over the age of 60 applying for 1 or 2 bed homes have been compared against the average number of lets per year of all bungalows and specialist older persons' homes in that location.
