Level of need by District location
This 'level of need' analysis shows a comparison of:
- the average total number of homes which become available each year to let (measured from 2009 to 2012) and
- the total number of households waiting in each location (April 2012).
This produces a list of all locations across the District, which shows which areas have the highest total shortfall of affordable rented homes based on these principles.
All the parishes in these lists (including key service villages) are applicants who currently live in that parish only. Unlike the property types analysis published, these lists do not take into account any neighbouring villages or locations.

We publish documents to show the shortfall or surplus of total affordable rented housing by each location in the District.
