Additional Restrictions Grant

The discretionary grant scheme helps businesses whose trade has been badly affected by restrictions.

We have closed this grant and are no longer accepting applications. This is because the scheme is oversubscribed.

We are currently processing applications in order of receipt and will issue the grants on a first come, first-served basis.

Business Adaptation Grant (closed)

The business adaptation scheme allows businesses to adapt their premises and operations to continue operating safely.

We have closed this grant and are no longer accepting applications.

We have approved 126 applications which allocates all £138,000 provided by Essex County Council.

Local Restrictions Support Grant (closed)

This grant is for business rate payers mandated to close due to local or national restrictions to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

Restart Grant

The Restart Grant scheme supports eligible businesses with a one-off grant, to reopen safely as COVID-19 restrictions lift.
