You must ask us for permission to erect a full memorial.
Email the cemeteries team to request and interment form.
You must erect a full memorial on a concrete base or landing.
We will maintain the surrounding grass area at no expense to the grave owner.
We only allow full memorials in some sections of our cemeteries.
You can look at our fees for internments, exclusive rights of burial, memorials and grave maintenance.

Other information
You can use a photo plaque as part of your memorial.
You must include a copy of the photograph with your application form.
Photographs must be oval in shape with a maximum size of 13cm x 10cm including the frame.
You can only use natural stone memorials such as York stone, granite or marble for your memorial. You need to get permission from our cemeteries manager if you want to use concrete or other non-natural materials.
We check all inscriptions for accuracy and to make sure they don’t cause offence.
The stonemason must inscribe their name the grave number on the memorial.
If the stonemason is adding inscriptions to a memorial, they must also add the grave number if it is not already inscribed.
Stonemasons must contact our Cemeteries team to make arrangements to carry out any work.
You should allow between six and twelve months from the date of an interment to the erection of a memorial on a grave. This will allow the earth to settle.
