Community Transport

Braintree Community Transport is a working partnership between Braintree District Council and Essex County Council which operates using volunteer drivers to provide safe, affordable and accessible transport for those in need throughout the Braintree District.

Braintree Community Transport currently operate three schemes which include:

- Social Car Scheme

- Minibus Hire Scheme

- Dial-a-Ride

Braintree District Council also operates a - Concessionary Travel Scheme which offers senior citizens and other eligible groups the chance to travel on public transport throughout the county at reduced rates.
