Members of the public, Parish or Town Councils and any other
amenity societies have up until the expiry date on the site notice
or 21 days from the date of their notification letter to submit any
comments on the planning application, whichever is the latter.
Letters of representation will be accepted after the publicity
has expired, providing no decision has been made as the Council can
proceed to issue a formal decision on the application after the
publicity has expired. If you are unsure of the status of an
application contact the planning department for further advice or
check the status of the application
online.
Further information on how to comment on a planning application
is contained within the Council’s leaflet: Have Your
Say!
If you wish to submit a representation, it is now possible to
submit your comments
online. Alternatively, you will need to submit
your comments in writing, quoting the reference number and/or site
address and send them directly to: -
Development Services, Braintree District Council,
Causeway House, Braintree, Essex, CM7
9HB
Letters of representation will not be replied to in detail, but
they will be acknowledged.
