Changes from
6th April
2008
1. Request
for confirmation of compliance with planning
conditions
To discharge a
condition on a decision notice you will now need to submit:-
- a specific application form (or send a detailed covering
letter)
- pay a fee of £25 for household applications or £85 for all other
cases
- submit three sets of plans / drawings.
A decision must be made in 12 weeks or the fee must be
refunded.

2. Application Fee Increase
Planning Application fees
increased nationwide. The main changes are:
- Householder fee now £150
- Application for the erection of a dwelling or change of use of
land £335
- Advert applications £95

3. 1APP Forms
The new 1APP application forms, which
are the same for all authorities, must be used for all
applications. Applications made on old application forms will
not be validated but instead returned.
