We hope that you will find this club directory useful when selecting a sports club or organisation. Inclusion in the directory does not imply a recommendation and should only be used as part of the process when selecting an appropriate club or organisation.

Where indicated clubs have the following accreditation. Please click on the link for further information on each of the accreditation schemes

CM = Clubmark - http://www.sportengland.org/clubmark-factsheet-nov04.pdf

SX = Club SX - This accreditation in its original format no longer exists. We recommend that clubs work towards their National Governing Body of Sport's accreditation or Clubmark. If your club is not eligible for either of these awards please contact Joby Humm - joby.humm@braintree.gov.uk for information on the new version of Club SX.
