get more active.

What are outdoor gyms -
Outdoor gyms are
very similar to normal indoor gyms except the equipment is much
simpler to use and you gain the added benefit of exercising in the
fresh air! They are a great way to:
- Conveniently achieve the recommended 30 minutes of daily
activity
- Meet new people
- Build confidence.
Who can benefit?
Everyone! The gyms are suitable for all ages (from 8+) and
all fitness levels. Plus, you don't need any previous
experience to use them! They are designed to encourage people
to set foot outside, enjoy the fresh air and get active!
For resistance training - working muscle groups - the
following equipment is available: -
Pulldown Challenger
Waist Twist
Chest Press
Leg Press
Dipping Bars
Sit-up benches.
For Cardio work - working heart muscles -the following
equipment is available: -
Cardio Rower
Cross Trainer Skier
Health Walker
Horse Rider
Ski Machine
Push Hands Yoga
