The Braintree Supporting Sports Partnership (BSSP) was set up to provide financial support to local young people in their international sporting ambitions. It was organised by local businesses with additional help from Braintree Rotary Club and members of the public.

All available funding has now been distributed to 12 Braintree athletes across a range of disciplines.  These athletes received a total of over £7,911, raised by local traders, to help defray their sporting expenses.
