The Warner Textile Archive houses a substantial body of documentary material. These come under many categories, and include:

- Sketch and sample books, design brochures and about 2,000 design documents acquired by Warners for inspiration and reference.

- Company accounts, correspondence and legal papers, as well as many volumes of documents relating to deeds, company takeovers and court cases.
