Built as an extension to Manor Street School in 1897, the old Infants' building is now used as the setting for Braintree District Museum’s Learning For Life Centre: an excellent venue for talks, demonstrations and workshops, and also an ideal space for one-off or ongoing bookings.

At 13.5 x 6.9 metres, the Learning For Life Centre offers accommodation for large groups and events, and is well equipped with PA system, toilet facilities and mains power.

Monday – Friday 9.00 – 22.00: £30/hr
Monday – Friday 22.00 – 23.00: £45/hr
Saturday 9.00 – 17.00: £30/hr
Saturday 17.00 – 23.00: £45/hr
Sunday 9.00 – 21.00: £60/hr

There is a discounted rate for registered charities at 50%.
