What you can report
You can report any littering
problem or environmental nuisance that you see. You can even
report a person causing a littering problem. Here are some of the
things you can tell us about:
- Litter & car litter
- Dog fouling
- Graffiti
- Fly-tipping
- Abandoned vehicles
- Fly-posters
- Dead animals
- People creating a littering problem
- Broken glass/disused needles
You can even tell us about litter on private lands such as car
parks, railways stations and supermarkets and we will speak to the
landowner to get the problem sorted out.
What you need to tell us
- Your contact details, in case we are unclear about the
location of the problem
- A good description of the problem and its location: for instance
shopping trolley in Gosfield lake or litter by the bus stop in
sample lane near junction with sample road
- Do you want to be told when the problem has been cleared
? – simply tell us ( if you’re emailing or texting just
type the word YES into the subject of your email or the body of
your text )

When you have told us about a
problem we will aim to clear it quickly to the response times you
can see below

Outside hours and at weekends your reports will still be
processed and we will do our best to keep within our response
times.
If you are reporting a problem using Facebook or Twitter outside
office hours and weekends, we will pick up your comment as soon as
we are open.
