WHAT'S ON IN 2012

Compost Awareness Week 6 - 12 May 2012

Essex County Council are running a Compost Giveaway event at the Discovery Centre, Great Notley Country Park, Saturday 12th May 10am-3pm. <>

 Recycle for Essex is giving away compost which has been created from Essex resident's garden waste that has been collected at kerbside and at recycling centres.  The officers will also be on hand to answer any composting questions you have.

 

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BAG AND SHOVE FOR THE COMPOST!

Plant Sale - 3rd June Halstead Public Gardens and also on Saturday 9th June on Market Hill.

Boot Sales. Halstead Town Football Club, Rosemary Lane - buyers from 9.00am  Each 2nd Sunday in the Month from April to October.

Bradford Meadows Group Small groups litter pick 7 days a week. A meeting with the local councillor on litter picking and other subjects will take place in the spring. For further information on the litter pick group and also forthcoming meeting (tba), please email pbell_727@fsmail.net

Heart and Sole Walks
Did you know that regular 30 minute walks can:
- Reduce blood pressure and cholesterol
- Aid weight loss
- De-stress and relax
- Improve stamina
- Strengthen bones

The walks last approximately half an hour and are led by an experienced leader. The walks will give you a chance to relax, unwind and meet new people while getting healthier.
Walks are FREE and start from the following locations each week at 10.00 am -
