<> Provide a "high-profile and visible"
presence in the District by patrolling areas that enables the
delivery of an efficient and effective Community Warden
Service.
<> Compile and maintain an accurate daily log
of events and tasks performed to ensure that accurate records of
the processes are kept.
<> Issue Fixed Penalty Notices for litter and
dog fouling and other offences as introduced by statute law,
including those delegated under the Community Safety Accreditation
Scheme.
<> Foster and develop good working
relationships with all partners, other agencies and stakeholders in
the local community including attendance at meetings.
<> Work with the local communities to identify
local problems and increase participation in tackling these causes
to ensure that all appropriate people are involved in the
process.
<> Set up a programme of visits to vulnerable
residents to offer advice, support and reassurance to help address
fear of crime in the community.
<> Report incidents to the Police and the
Council which are causing concern within the community and any
other information that may prove useful.
<> Report incidents of vandalism, abandoned
vehicles, graffiti and fly tipping.
<> To monitor levels of cleanliness and either
carry out works directly or report issues to the relevant Sections
with the Council and/or other agencies, (includes litter, fly
tipping, fly posting, dog fouling, abandoned vehicles).
<> Organise and participate in community
events, e.g. litter picks, clean up days, fetes etc.
<> Liaise and work closely with the
Neighbourhood Policing Teams as required, providing and reviewing
intelligence in accordance with the relevant legislation, policy,
protocols and codes of practice.
