Changing Clothes

Will no longer collect textiles as part of the kerbside collection.  This change is to improve the quality of recycled textiles.

Textile items being put out for collection are usually in very good condition and we are keen to ensure this quality is passed on to the person who reuses it.  We are now collecting so much recycling that it is affecting the quality of the textiles.

As a result partners and reprocessors have asked us to separate shoes and textiles from the main recycling collections.

If you have items of clothing or shoes you wish to recycle for others to reuse please….

- Donate them to your local Charity Shop

- Take them to a LMB textile bank located around the District.
