There are two Recycling Centres for household Waste (may also be refferred to as rubbish tip or household waste recycling centre) within the Braintree District .  Provide by Essex County Council these centres are for householders wishing to recycle or dispose of bulky waste and general household rubbish.

Braintree Road, Shalford, CM7 5HQ. The Centre is on the Braintree Road (B1053) south of Shalford.

Perry Road, Witham, CM8 3YZ. The Centre is on the Freebourne Industrial Park at the south end of Witham.
