ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES OUT OF HOURS

This department operates two distinct levels of service outside normal office hours, a" duty officer service" and a " standby Service"

Weekend - Standby Service

· Two officers are on Standby, or on patrol between the hours of 21:00 till 02:00 on both Friday and Saturday nights.

Weekday Cover - Duty Environmental Health Officer

· An Environmental Health Officer is available for emergencies only from;

17:30 till midnight Monday - Thursday,

17:30 till 21:00 hours Friday's,

08:00 to 21:00 hours Saturday,

08:00 till Midnight Sunday.

The officer will provide an information and advice service for urgent complaints and is not expected to provide a call out service.
