A number of environmental and technical studies have been commissioned in accordance with an Environmental Impact Assessment.  

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a process by which information about the likely environmental effects of certain projects is collected, assessed and taken into account both by the applicant, as part of project design, and by the decision making body in deciding whether permission should be granted

These studies will be collated and submitted in the form of an Environmental Statement supporting the planning application.  The following pages give details on each of the studies, with reports on findings so far (where available, subject to progress).
