Thank you for choosing to make your payment on-line with Braintree
District Council
Before you make a payment please ensure that you have:
• Your reference number for the type of payment that you
are going to make.
• Your debit or credit card details.
Then follow these easy steps:
1. select which payment type (from drop-down list) that
you
wish to make a payment for.
2. type in your full reference number (it will tell you if
you have
not typed in the correct reference). Nb. see below for
details...
3. enter the amount you wish to pay.
4. if you wish, you may leave a contact number or your
email
address in order that we may contact you if there is a
problem with your payment.
5. please check that the details you have entered are
correct.
If you wish to make a change then you can do so by
either amending the individual detail or by clicking on
'clear'
which will allow you to start again.
6. click on the 'submit for payment' which will then take
you to
the e-pay web site.
Nb. Reference Numbers:
Council Tax - 10 digits, starting with 43. Shown on Council Tax
demand.
Business Rates - 10 digits, staring with 06. Shown on Business Rate
demand.
Sundry Debtors - 7 digits, starting with 5. Shown on Invoice.
Parking Charge Notice - 10 alphanumeric characters, starting with
BX or ER.
Shown on your Parking Charge Notice.
Witham Bid - 10 digits, starting with 0. Shown on Invoice.
