Please note that with effect from the Council AGM on 21st May 2007
the District Development Committe was renamed the Planning
Committee. All meetings prior to 21/5/07 are therefore meetings of
the District Development Committee.
The Planning Committee is responsible for the following
functions
· Community
Strategy
· District Local
Plan
· Planning issues with
District- wide implications
· Overall planning
policy guidance
Please note that with effect from 6th June 2007 the
Planning Committee will take on the role of determining Planning
applications from the Area Committees.
