Bulmer *

The parish of Bulmer is situated in the north east corner of the Braintree District on the Essex/Suffolk border.  The parish includes the settlements of Bulmer and Bulmer Tye.  

Bulmer has one of the last surviving brick and tile yards where handmade bricks are still made from local clay.

According to the 2001 Census, the parish of Bulmer, including the settlement of Bulmer Tye, had a population of 568.
