This cluster group is formed from the parishes of Belchamp Otten and Belchamp St Paul, Foxearth and Liston, Ovington and Tilbury Juxta Clare, and Pentlow.

Situated in the northeast of the district in the Stour Valley, the area has picturesque villages, rolling farmland, rivers, meadows and ancient woodlands which many describe as the traditional English lowland landscape.
