Coggeshall *

  
Coggeshall, once important to the wool trade, is situated on an old Roman road to the east of Braintree.  With a population approaching 5000, there are a number of shops and services with a weekly Thursday market.

According to the 2001 Census, the parish of  Coggeshall had a population of 4327.
