PARISH EMERGENCY PLANS
Many Parish Councils have their own excellent Emergency Plans
and have had for many years. However, if any of you do not
have a current plan and would like to establish one, there is
a Parish /Community Resilience Plan
template for you to use, which you can adapt and
expand to suit your own needs. This plan template
has updated following Parish Emergency Planning
evenings. There is now a completed Parish Emergency Plan for
every Parish. If you have any queries on the plan or
your role in an emergency (see Guidance leaflet on right) do
contact the Emergency Planning Team on
01376 552525 ext 2753 / 2675.
Please also visit the Emergency Planning web
pages on this site via the "Advice and Emergencies" page. You
will be able to find the latest version of Braintree
District Council Emergency Plan (public version) on those
pages.
These pages also hold valuable information and advice for the
Public on responding to emergencies and in particular pages
on Flooding.
