For the first time, residents in the district are able to view the
expenses and allowances paid to Braintree District’s councillors
online.
In the light of the current unrest over MPs’ expense claims it
is important to help restore trust in local democracy. Making
details of councillors' allowances and expenses easily available to
all goes beyond what is required and demonstrates our commitment to
running an open and transparent council.

incurred.
