Do you know someone who's BORED?
A commonly asked question is "what is there for young people to
do?" whether this during school holidays, to release exam pressures
or at weekends.
Investigation has shown that there is no one place that has the
answer but maybe a list of contacts may help you find out what's on
or how to get in touch with places and organisations. This list may
not be complete, but I encourage you to tell others of this and
spread the word so more younger people have a better choice of what
they do in their spare time.
What's on and where you can find out more…
As well as looking at this Braintree District Council web site
for local information, young people can also log onto Essex County
Council web-site for use of the -
LIFE database. This has a great search facility for a wide
range of activities and clubs both in Essex and for those of you
bordering Cambridgeshire and Suffolk in the north of our
District.
Also, if you are a member of a club or group, then get yourself
registered too so others can find out about you. Find out more on -
www.essexcc.gov.uk under Library and
Information Services quick links.
