BRAINTREE COMMUNITY TRANSPORT - A WORKING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN BRAINTREE DISTRICT COUNCIL & ESSEX COUNTY COUNCIL

Are you aged between 25 and 70 and have a few hours to spare?  Would you like to put something back into your Community?  We are in need of volunteers to drive for us, either in your own car or one of our 12 seater minibuses.

If you are patient and have a willingness to help this rewarding and worthwhile job could be for you - taking elderly, disabled and vulnerable people shopping, to appointments. social events, day trips etc.

Mileage reimbursement is payable at 40p per mile without any tax liabilities, as long as you inform your insurance company, extra cover is not needed - benefits are not affected as reimbursement is on a not-for-profit basis and does not affect your availability for paid empliyment.
