Landscape Services Volunteers

Tree guards

Would you like to make a difference to your local environment?  The Landscape Services Team, are always looking for willing volunteers to help with activities such as tree planting, meadow cutting, building otter holts and creating paths.  Much of the work we carry out would be impossible without the continued and valued input of volunteers.

Volunteering provides numerous benefits.  Aside from helping improve opportunities for wildlife and access in the countryside, you can also gain a great deal of experience and skills that transfer into the workplace, meet new people, gain confidence, keep fit and active and stand  a better chance of seeing the local wildlife and countryside.

We are also looking for volunteers to join our Tree Warden Scheme throughout the Braintree District

If you wold like to get involved please contact the Landscape Services Team at Braintree District Council on: 01376 551414 or visit our Landscape Services web page
