It's back and better than ever!
We received over 2,200 votes in the last year's Loving Your High Street awards from residents wanting to spread the word on the best places to go in the district's towns and villages.

if you have a favourite place in town to shop or visit, here's your chance to tell us.

We've included some great new categories for shops and businesses in Braintree, Witham and Halstead; plus new categories for Market Stall of the Year and Village Retailer of the Year.

PLEASE NOTE: The 'Who's in the lead' spreadsheet will not be updated until the winners are announced in March 2012 as we want to keep it as a surprise!

The categories for the 3 towns are:
- Service provider of the year (hairdressers, dry cleanres, opticians etc...)
- Hospitality of the year (restaurants, cafes, public houses etc...)
- Retailer of the year (clothes, shoes, toys, gifts, hardware shops etc...)
- Market stall of the year
- Village retailer of the year (for your favourite village

Your chance to win £100
Everyone who votes will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 voucher to spend in their favourite shop- onw winner for each town and one winner for the 'village retailer' category.
