In the financial year 2009 to 2010 the Fraud Section has proven Benefit Fraud in excess of £225,000 all of this money will be recovered regardless of any prosecution decisions.

Together with our Solicitors, the Fraud Section successfully prosecuted 34 benefit claimants during this period. As well as sanctioning 87 others.
