The purpose of our 'moving-in' guide is to provide information
to residents new to the area to help them settle into their new
surroundings quickly. The guide contains information about:
• registering with doctors and dentists
• civic amenity sites
• 24-hour supermarkets
• refuse collection and recycling
• registering for Council Tax
….. and much more.
The content and design of the guide reflects the views of a
group of residents new to the District who were asked about their
experiences of moving home and about the type of information they
would find useful. The guide has been produced with the support of
the Freeport Braintree outlet shopping village.
