From the Braintree District Local Strategic Partnership

Whether you’ve just moved into the district or you are already a resident who is now moving home, we hope that you find the Welcome Guide useful in helping you settle into your new home and neighbourhood.

It has details of services and organisations that you may need to contact in your first few days in your new home and information on a range of other services available to you - from where you can relax and take part in leisure activities, to how to recycle your waste and to how to become involved in voluntary groups and projects.

The Welcome Guide is produced by the Braintree District Local Strategic Partnership.

We are a group of partners from Braintree District Council, Essex Police, Essex County Council, NHS Mid Essex, Essex Fire and Rescue Service and many other public, private, community and voluntary organisations who are working together to improve the quality of life for the people who live and work in the district, now and for generations to come.
