Glebe Hall, Glebe Avenue, Braintree.  This hall is operated by Glebe Community Hall Trust to book call 07510 189654 or go to www.glebecommunityhall.co.uk   A larger community hall, ideal for dances, wedding receptions, groups like Scouts, Guides and Brownies, and for commercial hire. Glebe Hall is on Braintree's Glebe estate and is easy to get to.

Goldingham Hall, Park Drive, Braintree.  This hall is operated by Goldingham Drive Community Association to book call 07539 595445.
Ideal for dances, wedding receptions and commercial hire. Goldingham Hall is on Braintree's Goldingham estate and is easy to get to from all over the town.

A large public hall near the town centre with a wide range of facilities. Its size and well equipped stage make it great for wedding receptions, dances, disco's, shows and commercial hire. There are also smaller rooms you can hire in the hall for meetings, dancing classes etc.

A large hall near the village centre with a wide range of Facilities. Its size and well equipped stage make it great for wedding receptions, dances, disco's, shows and commercial hire. There are also smaller rooms you can hire if you don't need all the space.

Halstead

Halstead Senior Citizens Centre

Primarily operates as a centre used by Senior Citizens attending a drop-in centre run by Age Concern (Mon,Wed,Thurs) and a luncheon club operated by BDC (Mon - Fri inclusive).

Evening use covers meetings by local groups (Art Classes, Winemakers Club, Townswomen's Guild, History Soc. Healing Sanctuary (Clairvoyants). Brownies.

A pre-school operates daily in a dedicated part of the hall.

The main hall is carpeted and is not suitable for any party activities. There are no hireable rooms other than the main hall.

The Senior Citizens Activities do not allow for any other use during the day.

We do not promote this building as a normally hireable hall - all enquiries have to be assessed by an officer with knowledge of the building.
