If you want to buy a
home in a sheltered scheme, there are several you can contact. Most
schemes have a scheme manager on site and communal areas such as
lounges.

Housing Associations
are not for profit organisations who can provide homes
at reasonable rents. There are several in the Braintree
District who can provide sheltered housing for older people
and extra care sheltered housing for people who
need extra help and care.
Greenfields Community Housing are the
largest housing association in the area with over 8,000 homes
which includes houses, flats, bungalows and sheltered housing.
