The Creative Communities Project was an initiative from the
Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership to give all members of a
community the opportunity to interact and learn from each other
using free arts and cultural activities and build strong and
lasting relationships between residents.
This project was funded by the Performance Reward Grant Scheme
and ran from June 2009 to Sept 2010.
Despite the funded element of the project now being finished,
the long term impact of the project is still continuing
successfully in areas across the district including the Braintree
East area and Nottage Crescent.
Lucy Gordon, Chair of Nottage Crescent Residents Association
thanked the Community Development Team for help and support they
have provided the group and added " We'd like to thank all the
residents who gave up their time to help organise the event, and
all those who came out on the day to take part".
