Braintree District Council's Community Development Team have put
together an online directory of halls, venues and facilities in the
Braintree District to promote the fantastic range of
facilities our district has to offer for voluntary groups and
community groups to help them deliver services and activities for
residents across the district.
This directory includes halls owned by parish councils,
charities and other public sector organisations, Parks and Public
gardens available for events and other venues owned by private
businesses which offer concessionary rates to community
groups.
There is also details of any equipment available for
use by local community groups either for free or hire at a
concessionary rate. This could include anything from tables,
chairs and gazebos to projectors.
All details were correct at the time of publication, but may be
subject to change at any time. BDC can accept no
responsibility for changes in hire costs throughout the year or the
condition of venues or equipment owned by outside
organisations. We recommend that all prospective hires
undertake a site visit to the relevant venues or inspect equipment
to ensure it is fit for your purpose and obtain quotes for hire in
writing before making a booking.
